Terminator 2 - Playable with Gamepads

So, how the frack do you get the Terminator 2 crosshairs to move nicely over the screen? Surely this is a question that has come to you some time.

  1. Enter into General -> Player Controls
    1. Set to Lightgun X Analog to None
    2. Set to Lightgun Y Analog to None
    3. Bind Lightgun X Analog Dec to your gamepad left arrow
    4. Bind Lightgun X Analog Inc to your gamepad right arrow
    5. Bind Lightgun Y Analog Dec to your gamepad up arrow
    6. Bind Lightgun Y Analog Inc to your gamepad down arrow

  2. Enter into Analog Controls
    1. Set AD Stick X Autocenter Speed to 0
    2. Set AD Stick Y Autocenter Speed to 0
    3. Adjust AD Stick X Digital Speed to your liking (often ~40)
    4. Adjust AD Stick Y Digital Speed to your liking (often ~40)
    5. Adjust AD Stick X Reverse based on game (on/off)
    6. Adjust AD Stick Y Reverse based on game (on/off)
    7. Adjust AD Stick X Sensitivity to your liking (often ~5)
    8. Adjust AD Stick Y Sensitivity to your liking (often ~5)

This is what we did to make Terminator 2 playable with the USB Gamepads, the same settings worked fine for Jurassic Park (and other Lightgun based games) as well.

Best of luck
